In patients with a history of adverse drug reactions and for whom skin testing or in vitro specific IgE testing is not available or appropriate, consider the benefits of BasoFunction HRT testing. The Basophil Activation Test assesses the ability of the patient’s basophils to release histamine when activated by a non-specific stimulus, formyl-methionyl-leucyl-phenylalanine (fMLP).
